SUN PEAKS: A new gladed section, named ‘Bug Out’, opened this season bringing the total number of ski runs to 126 and official gladed tree sections to 14. The new terrain is located on Sundance Mountain, between the popular ski runs of Rambler and Peak-a-Boo, and will provide relatively steep and open gladed terrain to the southeast aspect of Sundance.
MOUNT AGASSIZ: Parks Canada is considering a proposal to reopen Mount Agassiz Ski Hill in Manitoba’s Riding Mountain National Park.
The area, which has four lifts, was declared bankrupt in April 2000 having operated for almost 40 years.

I HAVE to come clean from the start – I am not keen on climbing uphill on skis with skins on. I prefer to get a chairlift or gondola and then allow gravity to bring me down.
